It Takes a Village...
Brooklin Village Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic was established in 1999 by physiotherapists Cheryl Davies and Rick Fryzuk in order to provide quality, comprehensive physiotherapy and rehabilitation services to Brooklin and the surrounding area. Over the years, we have grown with the community and expanded our clinic to meet the increased demands of our clientele. We are conveniently located in the Brooklin Medical Centre at 5959 Anderson Street on the lower level.
Physiotherapists are health care professionals who focus on restoring and maintaining physical function by providing personalized treatment plans. Assessments are based on a detailed knowledge of anatomy and pathology and treatment is applied in a scientific manner for therapeutic results.
Physiotherapists emphasize “active recovery”, encouraging patients to play an active role in their rehabilitation to achieve optimum results. The use of manual therapy techniques, specific exercises, modalities and patient education such as instruction of proper body mechanics are often important components in recovery.
